Who is Dale Usher?
Dale Usher is a lifelong resident of Graves County, a successful business owner, and a retired public servant.
He offers a unique combination of executive business experience and frontline public safety service, making him well qualified to serve as your Judge Executive.

The Business Leader: Dale built a successful electrical construction and power systems company from the ground up. He knows how to manage complex budgets, meet payroll, and navigate logistics.
The Public Servant: For over 20 years, Dale served as an Assistant Fire Chief and Paramedic for the City of Mayfield (Retired 2011). He understands crisis management and the critical importance of public safety infrastructure.
"I’m not running for a title. I’m stepping up to serve. I’ve led in the boardroom, and I’ve led at the fire scene. Now, I’m ready to lead Graves County." — Dale Usher
The Shift (The "Rebuild" Plan)

Economy: How will I, “Dale Usher,” grow the local economy?
We cannot just hope for jobs; we must go and hunt for them.
The "CEO Approach": I will personally meet with industry leaders to sell Graves County as a smart investment.
Rooftops to Retail: By attracting high-paying manufacturing jobs, we encourage home building. More homes ("rooftops") naturally attract the retail, grocery, and dining options for our residents, who currently drive to Paducah.
Infrastructure: Why are roads a priority?
The “Assistant Chief's” Perspective: As a former paramedic, I know that road conditions determine ambulance response times.
For me, bad roads aren't just an inconvenience; they are a safety hazard.
School Bus Safety: I will prioritize repairing bridges and roads that serve our school bus routes to ensure our children arrive at school safely.
Public Safety: How will we fund Police and Fire without raising taxes?
A safer Graves County starts with a stronger economy.
Growth Over Taxes: My plan focuses on expanding the commercial tax base through business development.
Resource Allocation: Increased revenue from new businesses will allow us to better fund the Sheriff’s Department and EMS without asking homeowners to pay more.

Q: Why is Dale Usher running for office?
A: I am running to ensure Graves County is a place where future generations can thrive. I want my grandchildren to find great careers and raise their families here, rather than moving away for opportunity.
Q: What is Dale Usher’s background?
A: I am a "hybrid" candidate with dual experience in the private and public sectors. I’m an owner of an electrical construction and power systems company, and a retired Assistant Fire Chief/Paramedic with 20+ years of service.
